Ingredients

Unbleached Enriched Flours (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Brown Sugar, Natural Caramel Flavored Pieces [Sugar, Brown Sugar, Enriched Wheat Flour (Niacin, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Reduced Iron, Folic Acid), Corn Flakes, Corn Syrup, Palm Oil, Non Fat Dry Milk, Sea Salt, Natural Flavor], Vegetable Oil [Canola Oil (Ascorbic Acid and Rosemary added to preserve freshness) and/or Sunflower Oil], Palm Oil, Buttermilk, Baking Powder [(Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Baking Soda, Cornstarch, Monocalcium Phosphate) leavening], Natural Flavor, Flake Salt, Natural Vanilla Flavor, Salt, Baking Soda (leavening)

CONTAINS: Wheat, Milk. This product is prepared and packaged using equipment that may come in contact with Egg, Soy, Tree Nuts (Pecans, Coconut, Almonds), Sesame.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Lightly grease baking sheet pan, line with parchment paper, or use wedge-shaped scone pan.

In bowl, add water to mix and stir with fork until combined and sticky dough forms. If dough seems dry, add additional water 1 teaspoon at a time.

Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (10-12) about 3"" apart onto prepared pan.

For triangle shaped scones, shape by hand into triangle or if using a wedge-shaped pan, drop even mounds of dough into each cavity and spread into triangle shape.

Sprinkle each scone with flaked salt, then bake 14-16 minutes,
or until firm and lightly golden on top.

Flavor plus!

How do keep making these wonderful flavors! My husband loves this one! The caramel taste is so satisfying AND it smells great too! I was hesitant to try, but sooo glad I did! Don't miss giving this a go!

First pkg we've baked, but these are so good, not at all hard but very moist. The salt for the top is the perfect match up. Will buy over and over.

These are terrific on their own, but last fall I inadvertently added too much water to their pumpkin spice scone mix, so to make up for it I mixed this one with it and they were so good, and now my kids are asking for them again.

I entertain often with afternoon teas for my friends at my home. I made the salted caramel scones and got rave reviews from them. I usually make homemade scones, but I purchased several at a tearoom and baked these and my guests loved them. They wanted my recipe so I had to tell my secret that they were from a mix and they were so surprised. Several wanted to know where I bought them so they purchased some on-line. One secret I do is instead of using water I use Salted Caramel Syrup by Skinny Syrups, which can be purchased at retail stores or online. The sprinkle salt is a must for the flavors to compliment each other.
