There are a few different ways to make PB&J Pancakes. You can either follow the recipe below or just enjoy the pancakes with a peanut butter and jelly topping. 


  • 1 Cup plus 2 Tablespoons Buttermilk or Chocolate Chip or Gluten Free Pancake Mix 
  • 1/2 Cup Cool Water 
  • 1/4 Cup Peanut Butter (or 2 Tablespoons Powdered Peanut Butter) and/or 3 Tablespoons Jam/Jelly 


  1. Preheat the griddle over medium heat 
  2. Place dry pancake mix, water, peanut butter, and jelly into a bowl and whisk together. Tip: if your peanut butter is more stiff, you can put it in the microwave to loosen, so that you can easily incorporate it. 
  3. Lightly grease the griddle, and pour about 4 tablespoons of batter onto the hot griddle. 
  4. Cook until bubbles form, and flip to the other side. Cooking about 3-5 minutes on each side
  5. Enjoy.
